WOODEN SPINNERS (BEYBLADES)
Kids build and decorate their own wooden spinners before competing with each other to battle it out for glory! Just like Beyblades but better!
This engaging activity includes hammering and other fine motor skills and encourages hands-on team play!

WOODEN PENCIL HOLDERS
This hands-on woodworking project gives kids the opportunity to use real tools to build their own pencil and note book holder.

FIDGET CUBE TOY
Kids make their own pocket sized fun fidget toy using wooden cubes and cloth tape.
This activity requires some concentration to get it right and once accomplished kids will not only get that sense of achievement but also a cool toy to keep.
Note - most suitable for kids aged 7 and over (but doable for Preps/Year 1's with assistance).

LITTLE WOODEN PUPPETS
An incursion with a difference! Each child will use their wooden parts to build their own little wooden puppet. and then decorate it using a range of materials to make their own character!
Why not challenge kids to come up with their own puppet show or even build a puppet theatre as a fun extension activity after we've left?

LITTLE WOODEN ZEN GARDEN
An incursion with a difference! Kids get active as they use tools to build their own wooden zen garden and little wooden rake and then wind down as they design and assemble their garden using sand, rocks, plants and their own clay garden ornaments.

MINI FLIP-TASTIC PUZZLES
Kids get busy designing and decorating their own characters to include on their mix-match flip-tastic wooden puzzle.
Children will be guided in the safe use of real woodworking tools including hand-drilling, hammering and sanding their wooden blocks before assembling all the parts to make their puzzle!

PERISCOPES
A fun woodworking project in which kids make and decorate their own wooden periscopes so that they can spy around corners!
Kids will sand their wooden parts and use a real hammer to build their periscope! A fun one for the youngster in all of us!!

EASTER SPECIAL - LITTLE WOODEN CHICKENS

XMAS SPECIAL - REINDEER ORNAMENTS Design + build your own Musical Instrument!
A project for the festive season!! Kids make these cute little ornaments to take home and hang on their tree.
Each child will follow instructions to make 1 x reindeer using screws and screw drivers, sanding blocks and stickers and then get free reign to make 1 x other ornament of their choosing (present / Santa or other) using a range of decorating materials.

MEGA MARBLE RUN
This incursion provides an interactive and collaborative marble run experience (the emphasis is on creativity, problem solving and play and does not include a take-home project at the end of the session). Participants explore forces, movement and principles of construction and engineering, as they work together to build a Mega Marble Run using the tricks, tracks and marbles provided! (Group sizes of approx. 15 children per 45 min session)
