String art in the park

Service Description

This hands-on activity melds woodworking with mindfulness. Participants get active as they learn to use a hammer and nails to make their own designs. They then relax and unwind as they use colourful yarn to create patterns and shapes. The result is a beautiful art-work to take home and be proud of! This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of Council's Active and Healthy program. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 10-17 years. Covered footwear must be worn to participate in this activity.
